A Place for Youth to Learn, Grow, and Thrive
Resilient Empowered Youth (The REY Center) a program of Parents in Training Inc. is a nonprofit organization serving foster, adoptive, and at-risk youth throughout Eureka, Humboldt County and Del Norte County. Through meaningful experiences, supportive relationships, and skill-building opportunities, we help youth strengthen resilience, build confidence, and prepare for a successful future.
Our programs combine social-emotional learning, recreation and enrichment, agricultural education, and career exploration to support the whole child—not just one stage of their journey.
As a program of Parents in Training, Inc., the REY Center benefits from an established foundation of community service while maintaining its own mission and identity focused on youth empowerment.

Supporting the Whole Child, Not Just the Challenge
Youth thrive when they are surrounded by encouragement, meaningful opportunities, and positive role models.
Rather than focusing on a single area of development, the REY Center brings together emotional learning, hands-on experiences, career awareness, and community engagement to help youth develop practical skills they can carry throughout life.
Together, these programs create an engaging environment where youth can discover their talents, explore new interests, build life skills, and develop the confidence needed to succeed in school, work, and their communities. The REY Center is committed to providing opportunities that inspire growth, resilience, and lifelong learning for every participant.
